Timeout

Timeout is a painting I made during lockdown in May/ June 2020 which is about the value we placed on our outdoor spaces as they became our only places for recreation, healing and for me, contemplation. It was a warm summer, and our gardens gave us much pleasure. This painting celebrates our relationship with our gardens and ultimately inspired me to retrain as a Garden Designer at The London College of Garden Design in 2021/2022. This natural progression is like painting with plants and many design principles apply.
